Time

What to expect

8.30am students arrive

To foster a sense of community and connection, we begin each day with a complimentary breakfast at 8:30 am, where both students and staff are welcomed. This breakfast not only provides nourishment but also creates a warm and inclusive atmosphere for all.

Following breakfast, a morning briefing takes place for our KS4 students, allowing students and staff to exchange important information and set the tone for the day of learning.

Students take a 15-minute morning break from 10:45 am to 11:00 am, providing them with a chance to recharge and socialise.

After break the learning continues.

There is dedicated tutor time from 12:00 pm to 12:20 pm, where students receive individualised support.

12:20 pm to 1:00 pm is lunch break offering students an opportunity to refuel and interact with their peers.

Lessons continue after lunch through to 3:00pm

At the end of the school day we provide a wide range of tailored activities to engage students' diverse interests and talents. Notably, our school is proud to host a variety of showcase performances where students can exhibit their talents in music, drama, dance, and other artistic pursuits. These performances are a celebration of our students' achievements and foster a sense of excellence and camaraderie within our school community.

What Sixth Form students can expect

Year 12 and 13 students have a specialised week that consists of multiple sessions per day focused on their chosen specialist pathway. This structure enables them to delve deeply into their area of interest and develop independence in their learning. Year 12 and 13 students are allowed offsite during break and lunch, however many remain, accessing our facilities and collaborating with their peers.

In summary, our school creates a nurturing and family-oriented environment to develop young professionals. We offer a structured day for Year 10 and 11 students, while Year 12 and 13 students engage in focused pathway sessions.
