Level 3 | Content Creation (Media, Broadcast, Interactive)

WHY CHOOSE WALSALL STUDIO SCHOOL?

Our content creators have the opportunity to use industry standard equipment, such as a drone, 4K cameras and a green screen multi-camera broadcast facility, alonside our state of the art digital suite for interactive design. These facilities allow our students to explore their creativity and realise that they can let their imagination run wild, while being productive too.

Content creation is a subject that allows learners to engage in projects and produce their own ideas and we want our learners to enjoy themselves while doing so. We encourage mistakes, but equally we encourage reflection and responsibility for what went well and what could be improved and how.

What will I learn?

Our students will get to work with employers from the creative media and interactive development industries and work on live projects, such as filming music events, sports matches, designing apps and web tools, working with local radio stations and many more opportunities.

Our content creators always get involved with cross-curricular events within the school, producing issues-based short films and filming, live-mixing and photographing the music and performing arts show.

How will I study?

The course is a mixture of theory and practical sessions, which will be delivered in our purpose-built digital and media hub.

How will I be assessed?

This is an example of the course structure of our Level 3 Content Creation video course. More information about our interactive course, new for 2024, will follow soon.
